Odie’s is a special hospitality collaboration between Old Dominion & Good Time Design that welcomes & embraces the special connection between songwriters, musicians, music fans & locals alike.
The unique partnership aims to give back to the music community by creating a dedicated space in the heart of the Midtown neighborhood in Nashville that celebrates a commitment to fostering local talent & providing a gathering place for those who make Nashville’s music scene thrive. Odie’s promises to be a vibrant hub where friendships, connections & the next generation of songwriters & artists will flourish.
Its location in the Midtown neighborhood is especially sentimental for Old Dominion.
“Right across the street there was a bar called the Blue Bar, and we used to play there, I mean, weekly,” OD’s Matthew Ramsey recounted to ABC Radio.
“Midtown in Nashville has played such a role in the history of our band,” Ramsey told Billboard via a statement. “From chilling at the bar after writing, to playing weekly into the wee hours of the morning... It’s an important neighborhood for not only upcoming artists and writers, but for local people or tourists who want a good place they know they can go and have a good time. Odie’s will be that neighborhood bar for us all.”
